Coverage Day Eight (Olympic Day 12)

This morning's report is both late and lackadaisyical because i stayed out late last night and have to make a poster that has a deadline of now. Gots to make the money so i can spend the money. So go back to yesterday's or wait for an exciting guest report tomorow if you're looking for a scintillating read. At least it's free.

I'm sure everyone has heard on the radio or read in the paper who will be winning tonight's first ladies figure skating contest, which will of course be broadcast in primetime tonight. If you haven't heard, and are waiting for the exciting contest, who am i to spoil it so i'll just say if you wish Tara Lipinski would just go back to where she came from, you might be happy. My coverage is just going to be all about ice skating from now on btw, because that's where the glamour is, and you know i am all about glamour.

I checked out the special web site set up by IBM for die hard fans, where you can send fan email to your olympic favorites (well, some of them) and tara lipinki's is chock full of weird random clip art including a golden retriever animation and stunning revelations along the lines of Q.favorite food? A.pasta. So, you know, go there at your own risk.

I feel as though i'm veering from the kindler and gentler olympics i proposed in the name of Oprah yesterday, but i can be a moody person. Probably has to do with (see above) staying out late and getting this somewhat unexciting and still looking really bad poster done.

Oh wait! This is a nice thing. This very nice sounding young man also has a site called My Olympic Diaries. He has way more pictures than i do, and besides living in Nagano and actually going to the olympics, he was a volunteer there! And he is looking for a girlfriend, and if you go through his site thoroughly enough, you'll find his picture. So, there. A good deed worthy of the angel network, and you all go there instead of slogging through today's bad, bad coverage.
